The facility constructed by NNIAT, LLC has been commissioned

An automated unloading system has been commissioned at Moscow oil refinery. Nizhniy Novgorod Institute of Applied Technologies was the General contractor of the project.

A new automated terminal will be able to perform unloading of diesel oil, petrol or aviation fuel to 12 oil tank trucks simultaneously.

The automated unloading terminal is the first project for the Russian capital completed within “Gazpromneft” development project for Moscow oil refinery. Discharge capacity of the terminal is 6.5 thousand ton of fuel per day.

The constructed terminal complies with the latest environmental standards, the automated system captures fuel vapors. Special equipment transforms gathered vapors into liquid and returns it to the production cycle. This system has already minimized impact on environment to 50%.

The fuel gets unloaded hermetically by bottom loading procedure. Therefore, oil products vapors do not evaporate and are not emitted to the atmosphere. Each of twelve unloading locations has modern automated systems of emergency and fire protection.

We would like to draw your attention that NNIAT has all required experience and equipment to perform construction works of all kinds from surveying and project designing to commissioning.
