Participation in round table discussion: "Growing services markets in Southeast Asia"

On February 3, NNIAT representatives Marat Nurlygaianov and Murat Uzdenov participated in Roundtable Discussion: "Growing Services Markets in Southeast Asia" in the World Trade Center within the 3rd International G&G Conference: "Advanced Exploration and Development Technologies of Eurasia". Round table discussion was organized to enable national companies to promote their services in ASEAN countries, to inform service providers regarding supporting actions to export services as well as to inform ASEAN countries regarding scientific and practical capabilities of national service providers.

NNIAT representatives shared their Southeast Asian work experience in crude oil tank cleaning in Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) in Brunei Darussalam. They explained BSP operating peculiarities, advised technology customization and employees orientation within the project. Besides, the advantages of tank cleaning technologies and other NNIAT developed technical solutions were presented. 

Environmental solutions developed by NNIAT – are the crucial business activity for Southeast Asian countries thus the presentation sparked interest of foreign guests and other round table discussion participants. 

Dmitry Kurochkin, the Vice-President of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), embassies representatives of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand as well as experts of relevant organizations and educational institutions participated in the meeting. 

The discussion was moderated by Viktor Tarusin, the President of Odintsovo CCI, Executive Director of Russia-ASEAN Business Council in 2012-2016. 

Dmitry Kurochkin, the Vice-President of the Russian Federation CCI mentioned strengthening cooperation of business circles of Russia and ASEAN countries with support of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry (including execution of Russian-Philippine Business Forum, Russian-Vietnamese Business Forum, Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific 2019 in Singapore). Due to this reason, at Eastern Economic Forum in September 2019, the President of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Head of the Russian section of BRICS and SCO Business Council Sergey Katyrin emphasized that relations between Russia and ASEAN countries are of strategic nature both in economic and political terms. Enhancing cooperation between BRICS and SCO conforms to the idea to develop Greater Eurasian Partnership EAEU- SCO-ASEAN. 

Singapore's Ambassador in Russia Premjith Sadasivan gave a report regarding “Cooperation perspectives in ASEAN region in oil and gas industry including research and development”.

Executive Director of FEA supporting fund in the Moscow Region Alex Pletnev, Head of Marketing Division in SCF GEO Rustem Aminev, chairman of EAGO Moscow Department, main geophysicist of Marine Research Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University Mikhail Tokarev participated in round table discussion.
