Cleaning of VST-20000 on the territory of Production Plant for tank farms and discharge racks of LINIK PJSC

Under Contract No.020203-0454 dated 04.10.2013, the specialists of Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Applied Technologies LLC (NNIAT LLC) performed cleaning of VST-20000 fuel oil tank (E-32 tank) on the territory of Production Plant No.4 for tank farms and oil products/liquefied hydrocarbon gases loading/discharge racks of LINIK PJSC (Lisichansk, the Ukraine). 

Work process

According to the measurements, the amount of sediment in the tank of 20000 m3 capacity (45,6 m diameter) estimated to 637665 t. 

Due to the implementation of NNIAT innovative technologies and equipment, the sediment was heated and liquefied. The bottom sediment organic part was pumped out to be subsequently used in the technological process.

Conclusions

The sediment mineral components that remained after the cleaning, were removed from the tank and transported to the place designated by the Client. The water was drained into the industrial sewage system.

Client feedback

The tank internal surfaces cleaning quality corresponds to the requirements and is sufficient to perform tank diagnostics and hot works. High level of occupational and industrial safety was ensured.
