NNIAT Founder Ruslan Tokaev takes part in “Russian-African partnership: the current trajectory of economic cooperation” Session

On July 29, 2021 a session on “Russian-African partnership: the current trajectory of economic cooperation” was held in the framework of the 12th International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic world: KazanSummit 2021”. 

The event gathered such participants as Member of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Airat Farrakhov, Deputy of the State Duma, Member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Rasul Botashev, Founder of Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Applied Technologies Ruslan Tokaev, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to the Russian Federation Johnson Agara Olwa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Russian Federation Mohamed Yongavo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to the Russian Federation Tarak Ben Salem and other delegates.

During the session, the Ambassadors of African countries and representatives of business and cultural community discussed the role of trade and economic relations with Russia, including further development. The participants of the event also touched upon trade and economic relations with African countries, financial and interbank interaction between the Russian Federation and the countries of Africa, industry and commerce cooperation with Tunisian partners.
