NNIAT specialists gave a presentation about technologies to treat oil-containing wastes

On April 6, 2021, NNIAT specialists gave a presentation about technologies to treat oil-containing wastes for ENSP and Sonatrach S.P.A. from Algeria.

Representatives of HSE, Maintenance and other departments took a keen interest due to the importance of the related issue for the oil-refining industry in Algeria.

NNIAT applies a range of environmentally friendly methods for oil sludge disposal that enable to recover hydrocarbon part as well as to convert/process wastes into safe soil.

Following the presentation, it was agreed that NNIAT will provide a technical solution to remediate sludge pits in Algeria.
