2600 Christmas trees for Dobryansky forestry
Planting trees is caring for the health of future generations!
Our colleagues from the Perm division of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Applied Technologies took part in the planned action of the Perm Forest Fire Center, during which fire-damaged areas and forests are being updated and restored. In 6 hours of work on the territory of the Dobryansky forestry, we planted 2,600 seedlings of coniferous plants - and this is practically an entire forest.
In the fall of 2022, employees of the State Budgetary Institution Perm Forest Fire Center prepared an area for planting seedlings on the territory of the Visimsky district forestry. Shallow furrows were plowed in the soil so that young fir trees could take root and turn into a real forest. And already this spring, the planting of forest crops was organized at the site of this cutting area.
May 24, 2023 was a significant day for NNIPT employees - we joined a good green cause and volunteered in the fresh air. It was a great opportunity to get acquainted with the real work of forest defenders who not only fight fires, but also restore forests.
Coniferous tree seedlings actually perform not only a decorative function. In large quantities, they absorb carbon dioxide and transform it into oxygen, which is so necessary for our planet.
It is important to remember that each of us can make a contribution to improving the environmental situation in our city or village. We will not hide that we received great moral satisfaction from the results we achieved!
