NNIAT Founder Ruslan Tokaev takes part in the 12th International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic world: KazanSummit 2021”

Ruslan Tokaev, the Founder of Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Applied Technologies, took part in the 12th International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic world: KazanSummit 2021”. The Summit was held from 28 to 30 July, 2021 at Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, and hosted also Russia Halal Expo – 2021 exhibition.

The International Economic Summit of Russia and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was for the first time held in Kazan city in 2009, and from the very beginning proved itself as a leading platform for economic interaction between the Russian Federation regions and the countries of the Islamic world. KazanSummit is held annually and is strongly supported by the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The summit goal is to strengthen trade and economic, scientific-technical, social, and cultural ties between the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as to promote the development of the institutions of the Islamic financial system in Russia.

The keynote of KazanSummit 2021 is conscious consumption and creation. The key business program topics included traditional sessions on Islamic finance and partnership banking, halal industry, youth diplomacy, export development, entrepreneurship and investment

KazanSummit 2021 gathered delegates of 60 countries, 33 regions of Russia, and 30 diplomatic missions.
